Award-winning Irish fashion designer and fashion industry expert, Jennifer Rothwell, has opened a flagship store in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Dublin 2, as well as an online boutique www.jrothwell.net.
The JRothwell flagship store and e-boutique showcase Jennifer’s autumn / winter 2014 collection of prints, jersey pieces and exquisite evening dresses, along with the iconic White Collection of seven show-stopping vintage-inspired dresses in silk, lace and organza. Ladies fashion with Jennifer has just become a lot more accessible. Jennifer’s hands-on styling approach is evident at JRothwell, where she offers design consultations, fashion advice and a made to measure bespoke tailoring service.
The flagship store also stocks fashion accessories from some of Ireland’s other leading designers, including milliner Martha Lynn, accessory designer, Susannagh Grogan and jeweller, Eily O’Connell. “I’m passionate about Irish design and committed to supporting jobs in the industry in Ireland,” said Jennifer Rothwell. “JRothwell promotes emerging Irish talent by providing a platform to sell direct to the public. For one off unique and different, but also elegant and timeless. All of Jennifer’s pieces are produced locally at her studio in Dublin. If you are looking for fashion inspiration or fashion ideas, this would be a great place to start.
Jennifer’s shop is open in The Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, Dublin 2, Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm, with late opening until 8pm on Thursday. For me, it is such an inspiration to see a fashion designer and fashion design expert take that leap into fashion retail. Such a big leap it is.
