Makeovers at Ultimate Girls Day Out

Published on: September 3, 2013

Just finished a fun weekend of makeovers with four lovely ladies at The Ultimate Girls Day in the RDS. Yes summer is officially over (boohoo)! We created all our fashion looks from Heatons, make-up was done by Sarah Jane from Rimmel and hair by Stephanie from House of Colour. I took lots of pics so you can see our handy work below! Caroline and Melissa were our lucky ladies on Saturday and Deborah and Margaret on Sunday all with thanks to U Magazine and Irish Tatler. Check out both magazines for lots more pics in the coming weeks.

SATURDAY MAKEOVERS

Melissa and Caroline are avid U Magazine readers! They were both sick of doing what they have always done when it come to their style. Melissa (on the left in the pic below) was looking for a more glam, grown up look and Caroline (in white denim) said that she is always usually in dresses and wanted a funkier everyday look. Hope you like the results!

SUNDAY MAKEOVERS

Next up on Sunday we met sisters Margaret and Deborah who won their makeover prize after entering on Irish Tatler’s facebook page. Below is our ‘before’ pic of our lovely ladies. Deborah (on the left) is very petite and wanted to be glammed up. She is a busy mum who lives in jeans and tee shirts and so we set about choosing a dress that Deborah could wear in winter with opaque tights and for summer with bare legs. Margaret (on the right) has a ‘strawberry’ body shape. This simply means she holds her weight on her top half and has fantastic legs that she needs to show off! Margaret wanted a fun, funky, yummy mummy look, which i hope we have achieved with Heatons printed skinnies, classic peplum top and bright coral heels as a fun accent colour!
