I absolutely love what Budweiser are doing at the moment. Giving young people a unique chance to kick start their dream job, whatever it may be. The finalists have been chosen and we LOVE Helen! Her passion is fashion design and she is also from Co. Laois (so I am a little biased!). You can check out Helen’s video below and log on to the Budweiser facebook now where you can vote for your favourite person who will get to kick-start their dream career with a €50,000 prize fund.
From 1,009 applications, the judges have chosen five talented finalists; Limerick film director Michelle Ryan, Laois fashion designer Helen Lalor, Cork photographer Rory Coomey, Mayo artist/surfer Shane Cannon and Carlow Des Foley motorsport video journalist Des Foley, all of whom conveyed the passion, belief and determination required to succeed in their dream career.
Dream Job is part of Budweiser’s new campaign ‘Today Is The Day’, which is all about inspiring some of the hugely talented and passionate people living in Ireland today to fulfil their dreams.
The Budweiser Dream Job judges included Dave Harris, well known Irish music mogul and Marketing Director at Universal Music Ireland, successful fashion designer and business woman, Heidi Higgins, Love/Hate actress Aoibhinn McGinnity and lead singer with band Hermitage Green and former Munster rugby star Barry Murphy.
